Bolton Wanderers have sacked their on-loan defender, Djibril Diawara, for breaching club regulations on pre-match curfews and drinking.
The Senegal international, who joined the Premiership club from Torino at the start of this season, will now return to Italy.
Diawara was expected to play some part in tonight’s match against Manchester United at the Reebok Stadium, but his contract has been terminated with immediate effect.
