Gardaí probe Co Clare death
Gardaí in Co Clare are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man whose body was found near the village of Bridgetown this morning.
The body, believed to be that of a local man in his 50s, was found in a ditch by a passer-by.
The scene has been preserved for technical examination and a post-mortem is due to be carried out later today.
