An Post has advised customers in the Drogheda area not to post any mail until further notice.

An Post has advised customers in the Drogheda area not to post any mail until further notice.

25,000 items in Drogheda and 5,000 in Navan were left undelivered last night because of ongoing unofficial action by members of the Communications Workers Union.

The CWU has said it is because of management's refusal to pay overtime.
