Craig David is planning to collaborate with JLS on his next record.

The ‘7 Days’ hitmaker is currently working on his latest album in the US, where the ‘Beat Again’ group – made up of Aston Merrygold, Marvin Humes, Jonathan ‘JB’ Gill and Oritse Williams - came out to party with him, and he’s hoping to get them to return in order to work on a tack together.

Speaking at the premiere of Justin Bieber’s new film ‘Never Say Never’ at London’s The O2 last night, he told BANG Showbiz: “We had fun in Miami when JLS came over.

“When the shots come out they can handle it, I had a little trouble keeping up to a certain degree!

“We did some work together, but that time they were there just having some play time.

“We’re in talks with them at the moment, Aston and Marvin have become close since meeting up with them and we’re planning to work on some projects together, so until that comes together, they’ll definitely come back to Miami.”

R ‘n’ B singer Craig, 29, has previously released five albums, enjoying huge success in the early part of the last decade, and scoring his first number one, ‘Fill Me In’, when he was just 18.

He added that he is a big fan of ‘Runaway Love’ singer Justin, and went to the premiere of his film – which charts his success since becoming a teenage internet phenomenon at the age of 14 – to show his support.

He added: “I came here tonight just to surprise Justin because I know he’s a big fan of mine, he’s said it on so many different shows and TV.

“Look how cool he is. He comes along, waistcoat on, no sweat on his brow, chilling - he is single handedly the biggest thing on the planet right now.”
