Katona to tell all about split on Channel 4

Kerry Katona is selling the story of her love split from husband Mark Croft for £50,000.

The financially unstable former reality TV star has signed an exclusive deal with Channel 4 to tell all the details about when she left Mark last week after he accused her of cheating on him.

Cameras followed mother-of-four Kerry as she flew to Tenerife after Mark claimed she had been having an affair with a married fitness instructor.

They also captured her return and a subsequent first meeting with Mark, where she didn't wear her wedding ring.

The star reportedly agreed the £50,000 fee with Channel 4 before filming began on the documentary - which will also show her recent weight loss.

Both Kerry and the fitness instructor - ex-royal Marine Kevin Green - deny claims of an affair, although Kevin admitted swapping texts with Kerry, which he said his wife knew about.

Kerry's friends have supported her decision to leave Mark and have also said Kevin's influence on her has been positive.

One pal said: "We thought she would go back on the chips and curry but she's changed. She's been eating well and exercising.

"Kerry finally realised it's time to lose the leech. She told him she hadn't cheated but he was convinced. She now knows she's better off without him."
