Peter Andre says ex-wife Katie Price's new boyfriend is a "very nice man".

The singer met Argentinean hunk Leandro Penna – who the reality TV star has been dating for several months - at his and Katie's son Junior's school sports day last week and has revealed the meeting was perfectly pleasant between them.

He said: "There was a story last week saying that I met my ex-wife at Junior’s sports day and that I shook hands with her new boyfriend Leandro. This is true. We were both there to support our son on his special day and things were perfectly amicable. My children always come first and

I would never have it any other way. Leandro seemed like a very nice man, although, to be honest, I only met him very briefly."

Peter is currently getting ready to go on a summer holiday with his two kids, Junior, six, and Princess Tiaamii, four.

The 38-year-old pop star is taking his children on a cruise of the Mediterranean and he is really excited about the trip because he is going to be meeting up with his parents, mum Thea and dad Sawas, as well as several of his siblings.

Writing in his new! magazine column, Peter revealed: "By the time you read this column, I will be on a cruise ship somewhere in the Med with my family. I can’t wait! After my European tour finishes, my mum and dad are flying over to Spain with Junior and Princess and we’re going on a week’s cruise.

"My sister’s flying all the way over from Australia with her son and three of my brothers are coming as well. We hardly ever get to all be together like this, so I’m really looking forward to it. I’ll tell you all about it next week."
