Jury sworn in in Dublin rape trial

A jury has been sworn in the trial of a man acused of raping a woman in Dublin over three years ago.

A jury has been sworn in the trial of a man acused of raping a woman in Dublin over three years ago.

The 31-year-old man has pleaded not guilty at the Central Criminal Court to raping the woman in a Dublin suburb on November 12, 2005.

Mr Justice Paul Carney advised the jury of five women and seven men that the trial will start as soon as a court became available and adjourned the case to next Wednesday
