Explosives and a weapon found in Co Kildare
Gardai investigating dissident republican activity have found explosives and weapon in Co. Kildare.
The officers were carrying out a search in an open area near Celbridge, when they dscovered a handgun and three improvised explosive devices.
The army bomb disposal team was called to the scene to examine the devices.
So far, there have been no arrests made and investigations are continuing.
