The recount of votes in Wicklow is due to resume this morning, with a result expected some time later today.

The recount of votes in Wicklow is due to resume this morning, with a result expected some time later today.

The full recount, which began yesterday, was called by the Labour Party’s Nicky Kelly, who is battling with independent candidate Mildred Fox for the final seat in the constituency.

Both have expressed annoyance at the length of time it has taken to get a final result.
