Yesterday, Northern Secretary John Reid said the British government believes there is no basis for safety concerns about Sellafield.

He welcomed yesterday’s ruling from the UN tribunal on the law of the sea, which rejected an Irish appeal against the operation of a controversial MOX plant in Sellafield.
