Man hospitalised after Dublin shooting

A 22-year-old man has been hospitalised after being shot in Dublin in the early hours of this morning.

A 22-year-old man has been hospitalised after being shot in Dublin in the early hours of this morning.

The incident happened at Mellows Avenue in Finglas at around 5am.

The man was hit in the lower body but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

A 17-year-old man was arrested nearby and is being held at Finglas Garda Station for questioning.
