Discussions are underway aimed at avoiding Bank Holiday Monday's Aer Lingus strike.

Cabin crew members are discussing recommendations issued by the Labour Court last night in the dispute with Aer Lingus management over pay and conditions as the airline continues its restructuring program.

A statement from the trade union IMPACT is expected in the next couple of hours.
