United could reappear at Haydock later this month if the ground is soft following an encouraging run at Wincanton.
Trainer Lucy Wadham was delighted with the mare’s display on Saturday in finishing second to Bold Fire on conditions quicker than ideal.
That was United’s first run since May and Wadham is now eyeing the Betfair Handicap Hurdle on November 18.
“I was very happy with her performance. She is much more effective on soft ground so it was a very good run on ground a bit quick for her,” said the Newmarket handler.
“There’s a staying handicap up at Haydock which might be on the agenda, but we won’t run her until we get some rain.
“There are plenty of nice races for her to go at and she will be sticking to handicaps at around two-and-a-half and two-and-three-quarter miles.”
