FG leadership nominations to close today
Nominations will close at 6pm today in the race to replace John Bruton as leader of Fine Gael.
Front-runner Michael Noonan received a huge boost to his chances when former leader Alan Dukes gave the Limerick deputy his backing.
Jim Mitchell, Enda Kenny and Bernard Allen are also battling it out for the post, which will be decided on Friday.
