A new adult case of TB has been identified at a crèche in Douglas, Cork.

A new adult case of TB has been identified at a crèche in Douglas, Cork.

This most recent diagnosis follows the detection of nine child-cases of tuberculosis in Cork city, seven of them at the Douglas crèche.

Over 300 children and adults have been screened for the disease.

Parents at the crèche are being briefed by officials from the Health Service Executive about the situation.
