A 22-year-old man has been shot dead outside Saint James' Hospital in Dublin last night.

A 22-year-old man has been shot dead outside Saint James' Hospital in Dublin last night.

He was found in a dark-coloured Honda CRV parked on Cameron Street at about 1am today.

A second man in his early 20s was injured in the incident, and is being treated at St James' Hospital.

Two men have been arrested and are being questioned at Kevin St garda station.

The scene has been preserved for a technical examination, and gardaí are appealing for anyone who may have seen a silver-coloured car driving in the area at the time to contact them.
