Fianna Fáil Leader Micheál Martin has today admitted that his party faces significant challenges in Dublin.

According to the Evening Herald Millward Browne poll, the party faces wipe-out in the capital this time.

The poll of 1,000 people shows support for Fianna Fáil now stands at just 10% in Dublin.

"I would just point out that we did have similar polls in the past in previous elections which did not turn out to be quite as accurate in terms of the actual outcome of the election in some constituencies," said Martin.

"It is all there to play for."
