The two northbound lanes on Dublin's M50 motorway have been separated this morning as part of ongoing development work.

The new temporary traffic layout came into effect at 6am.

The latest diversion between the Red Cow interchange and the N4 Lucan interchange will see northbound traffic divide to allow surface works to continue between the lanes.

Northbound motorists who want to exit at the Lucan junction should use the left hand lane.
