Man injured in 'punishment-style' shooting

A 26-year-old man has been shot in an apparent punishment-style attack in west Belfast.

A 26-year-old man has been shot in an apparent punishment-style attack in west Belfast.

Four men broke into a flat in the Juniper Park area of Dunmurry last night.

The man was shot in the left thigh and was taken to hospital where his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

A 28-year-old woman, who was also in the flat at the time of the incident, was not injured.
