Quinn says Ireland needs courage to vote yes

Labour leader Ruairi Quinn has said major changes have been made since the last Nice Treaty referendum and these have addressed many of the public concerns.

Labour leader Ruairi Quinn has said major changes have been made since the last Nice Treaty referendum and these have addressed many of the public concerns.

Mr Quinn insists that a yes vote will give the Irish people a chance to ‘copperfasten’ Irish neutrality.

In addition, the Labour leader points out that reforms have been made to the way that EU initiatives are translated into Irish law.
