Management at the Irish Times will today reveal to staff the extent of redundancy packages.

Management at the Irish Times will today reveal to staff the extent of redundancy packages.

The troubled newspaper is seeking 250 redundancies and is facing a loss of €1.2m if its cost difficulties are not addressed.

The redundancy deal will be hammered out over the next few weeks, with staff reductions implemented by July.
