The rucksack of a Laois man, missing for more than a month, has been found in Argentina.

The rucksack of a Laois man, missing for more than a month, has been found in Argentina.

The bag was discovered at the hostel where 28-year-old Ronan Lawlor last stayed before he disappeared.

The engineer, who had been backpacking around South America, last contacted his family in the middle of November.

His friend Bernard McCabe, who is flying to Argentina this evening, said this latest discovery narrows down their search.
