Up to 250 dead in Algerian quake
Up to 250 people were killed in an earthquake that shook the region around the capital of Algeria, state-run radio reported today.
The report said 350 other people were injured in the earthquake.
The interior ministry had reported earlier that at least 95 people were killed, most of them in areas east of Algiers.
