Irish winner of €94m Euromillions jackpot, but not in Sallins

Reilly's Supervalue in Sallins, Co Kildare, has said the Lottery has told them they did not sell the €94m winning Euromillions ticket.

There was speculation the ticket was sold there, but they Lottery have said it was not even sold in the region around Kildare.

Last night the National Lottery confirmed the Euromillions jackpot of just under €188m was jointly won by an Irish and a Belgian ticket.

The National Lottery has said it is too early to say whether an individual or a syndicate has won the jackpot.

They are reminding the ticket holder that the prize must be claimed within 90 days.

It can be redeemed at the National Lottery headquarters on Dublin's Abbey Street.
