Gardaí are investigating the discovery of a woman's body in Co Cavan.

Gardaí are investigating the discovery of a woman's body in Co Cavan.

The woman who was in her 40s was found dead in a house in Cavan town last night.

A post mortem examination is due to be carried out at Cavan General Hospital.

Foul play is not suspected.
