Police in the North are appealing for witnesses to an armed robbery in north Belfast yesterday evening.

Police in the North are appealing for witnesses to an armed robbery in north Belfast yesterday evening.

Two masked men boarded a bus parked on the Mountainhill Road at around 6.10pm.

They were armed with a gun and a knife and they demanded money from the driver before escaping.

The driver of the bus was not injured but shaken.

The PSNI is appealing for witnesses to come forward.

Both men are believed to be around 18 or 19 years of age.
