Mo Mowlam transferred to hospice

Former Northern Ireland secretary Mo Mowlam has been transferred from a hospital in London to a hospice closer to her family.

Former Northern Ireland secretary Mo Mowlam has been transferred from a hospital in London to a hospice closer to her family.

She was brought to hospital two weeks ago with an "unspecified illness", and doctors refuse to comment on any connection between this illness and a previous brain tumour.

However, they said the 55-year-old is in a critical but stable condition.
