The present 'debate' on Brexit in the parliament in Westminster is a continuation of the decades-long anti-EU propaganda campaign by the London media.
It shows the contempt Brexiteers have for the people of the rest of Europe and especially for the citizens of this democratic republic and former colony.
The EU is the most advanced effort at international cooperation in the world.
It is made up of nearly thirty democracies in a continent which was reduced to ruin by imperial/totalitarian wars for centuries.
Brexit is, therefore, one of the most significant political declarations made in Europe since World War II.
One of the members of the EU, which is also one of the most powerful and richest countries in the world, has declared economic war on nearly thirty other European democracies with which it had signed a treaty to cooperate in matters of mutual interest.
Brexit is also significant since it virtually tore up an international agreement - the Good Friday Agreement - the UK signed with a former colony to draw a line under the colonial past.
The more this contemptuous anti-EU debate goes on the more indefensible Brexit is seen to be.
