Golden Globe-winning actress Sally Hawkins took time out from filming today to enjoy the seaside sunshine in Co Wicklow.
The star, who picked up the award for 'Happy-Go-Lucky', is working on a new movie being filmed in Bray.
'Happy Every Afters', which is written and directed by Dublin-born filmmaker Stephen Burke, is expected to be in the cinemas in September.
Lesley McKimm, of producers Newgrange Pictures, said the film being shot at the Bray Head Hotel is a screwball wedding comedy.
“It’s about two couples who marry for the wrong reasons and end up in the same hotel for their wedding receptions,” she said.
Hawkins, who also won a Best Actress Golden Bear at last year’s Berlin Film Festival for 'Happy-Go-Lucky', plays the part of Maura, who weds an immigrant, in a money-making marriage of convenience.
Freddie, who is played by Tom Riley, is remarrying his former wife, in the belief that it will work out second time around.
“There’s lots of mayhem,” said McKimm, who also co-produced the IFTA-award winning 'Whistleblower', about the Dr Michael Neary scandal.
The film is being released in Ireland through Disney.
