Lucas Radebe has been included in the South Africa World Cup squad despite missing the entire season through injury.
Leeds United star Radebe, who has not played a competitive match in 15 months, returned to fitness in time to make coach Jomo Sono's final 23-man squad.
The 33-year-old played 37 minutes for Leeds in Gary Kelly's testimonial before featuring in the first half of the Bafana Bafana's friendly against Madagascar last weekend.
The squad, which also includes Watford's Pierre Issa and Manchester United's Quinton Fortune, leave for a tournament in Hong Kong on Friday before heading on to Japan and South Korea.
They open their World Cup campaign against Paraguay on June 2.
