Angela Griffin is "offended" she has never been asked to go back to 'Coronation Street'.
The 35-year-old actress played the role of Fiona Middleton in the soap from 1993 to 1998, and despite since starring in 'Holby City' and 'Waterloo Road', it is the job on 'Corrie' which she gets asked about most.
She said: "It's still mostly The Street that people mention. I always find it a bit bizarre, given that I left so long ago - and some times it'll be someone who's about 20. How on earth do they know I was in
it? And I always get asked, 'Are you ever going to ho back?' To which I reply, 'I've never been asked!'
"In all fairness I've never had the chance because I've been in other shows for long periods. But I'm still offended!"
Of all the shows Angela has appeared in, it is medical drama 'Holby City' she would most like to go back to.
She added: "I'd rather go back to 'Holby' actually, it's filmed at the same studios as 'EastEnders'. I enjoyed playing Jasmine."
