Concern reports fall in donations

Last year saw a 17% drop in the amount of money donated by the public to Concern.

It is said to be in line with expectations, after the previous year's figure was boosted by an increase in support in response to the Haiti earthquake disaster.

According to a report on the charity's worldwide operations, Concern spent €160.3m in 2011, up from €150.7m in 2010.
