Hong Kong property magnate offers €50m for man to woo lesbian daughter
One of Hong Kong's richest men is offering $65m (€50m) for the man who can successfully woo his lesbian daughter.
Cecil Chao Sze-tsung, a property magnate, has offered the huge HK$500m sum after his 33-year-old daughter Gigi Chao, a graduate from the University of Manchester, tied the knot with her partner of seven years in France.
While Cecil says he would never force his daughter to walk down the aisle with anyone, he is desperate to find a successful suitor to his business and has slammed Gigi's latest marriage as being "false".
He explained: "I don’t mind whether he is rich or poor. The important thing is that he is generous and kind-hearted.
"Gigi is a very good woman with both talents and looks. She is devoted to her parents, is generous and does volunteer work."
