Gardaí investigate death of woman in Co Cork apartment
Gardaí in Co Cork are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a woman whose body was found in an apartment in Clonakilty today.
The woman, who was in her 30s, was found dead in her flat above a business premises on Connolly Street at around midday.
An injured man was also taken from the scene to Cork University Hospital.
Gardaí say they are treating the woman's death as suspicious and have sealed off the apartment for forensic investigation.
