Man due in court after discovery of loaded gun in Cabra

A man is due to appear in court charged in connection with the discovery of a loaded gun in Dublin.

The weapon was recovered during the planned search of a house in Cabra yesterday.

Gardaí seized the sawn-off shotgun and three rounds of ammunition.

The man, who is aged in his 40s, was arrested at the scene and will appear before a sitting of Blanchardstown District Court tomorrow morning.
