Reynolds honoured in S&P awards

Former Taoiseach Albert Reynolds was last night honoured in a ceremony for his contributing role in the peace process in the North.

Former Taoiseach Albert Reynolds was last night honoured in a ceremony for his contributing role in the peace process in the North.

Upon receiving the honour, the Longford man insisted that the peace process is here to stay despite the obstacles it faces.

Other figures who were honoured last night included Bertie Ahern, Mary Harney and Mary McAleese.

All the candidates were honoured by the Social and Personal magazine.
