Man in court in connection with drugs seizure
A man has appeared in court in Cavan charged in relation to a drug seizure in Ballyconnell yesterday.
As part of the same operation, two men and one woman are due to appear in court on Monday, in connection with a drug seizure in Dublin.
A €500,000 worth of cannabis was discovered yesterday during searches of industrial units in Dublin and Cavan, as part of Operation Nitrogen.
Altogether five people were being held over the course of the weekend - the fifth person, a man in his 20s remains in custody at Ballyfermot garda station.
