Transport Minister Leo Varadkar has said that outstanding security matters at Dublin Airport have been resolved.
It emerged last month that a European audit identified some problems with security at the airport.
It meant passengers who were transferring through another EU airport had to undergo screening again.
But Minister Varadkar today said the security issues have now been resolved, and that restrictions have been lifted.
"The two deficiencies which gave rise to additional security procedures being imposed on flights departing from Dublin have been addressed to the satisfaction of the European Commission," Minister Varadkar said in a statement.
It follows a further inspection by European Commission this week.
