Hot on the heels of the Charlie Carter saga Kilkenny hurling has been rocked once more by the news that Richie Mullally has suffered a broken ankle.

Hot on the heels of the Charlie Carter saga Kilkenny hurling has been rocked once more by the news that Richie Mullally has suffered a broken ankle.

The injury will keep the Glenmore defender out of the Leinster final against Wexford on July 6.

Kilkenny have already lost Charlie Carter and Brian McEvoy (both retired), Andy Comerford (achilles) and now Mullally.
