Gardaí name Cork crash victim

The man who was killed in a car crash in Cork in the early hours of this morning has been named as Gerry Delaney from Crossbarry, Co Cork.

The man who was killed in a car crash in Cork in the early hours of this morning has been named as Gerry Delaney from Crossbarry, Co Cork.

The 48-year-old died in a single vehicle accident in Ballinhassig at about 2am.

He is one of six people killed on Irish roads this weekend, five in the Republic and one in the North.
