Gardaí continue investigation into Tullamore stabbing death

The forensic examination at the scene of a fatal stabbing in Co Offaly is expected to conclude today.

The forensic examination at the scene of a fatal stabbing in Co Offaly is expected to conclude today.

Gardaí believe the Polish victim, Grezegorz Guzik, may have taken his own life after attacking another Polish man at a house in Tullamore yesterday morning.

The other man suffered minor injuries.

There were four people in the house at the time; the two men, a woman and a three -year-old boy.

It is believed the incident may have been connected to a domestic feud.
