About 15 coaches have been extensively damaged in a suspected arson attack in Dublin.

About 15 coaches have been extensively damaged in a suspected arson attack in Dublin.

Gardaí are investigating the blaze at private coach hire company Duelway in Rathcoole in Co Dublin.

The fire broke out just after 5am today.

It is believed the blaze was started deliberately, as a spokesperson for Dualway said there was evidence of a break in.

Five units of the fire brigade were called to the scene and brought the blaze under control just after 8am today.

No one was injured.

Dualway employs around 90 people and has been in operation for more than 30 years.

It is thought the damage could cost the company hundreds of thousands of euro.

The scene will now be sealed off, while gardaí carry out a technical examination of the scene.
