A man and a woman have been charged with almost 40 animal cruelty offences today.
The pair, both 41, were arrested by police after several properties were searched by the USPCA in Belfast last November.
A number of dogs and items were seized during the operation.
Seven men and one woman have been charged with more then 200 counts as part of the investigation.
They will all be brought before Belfast Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.
