Gardaí launch murder inquiry after body discovered

A murder investigation is underway in Co Tipperary.

A murder investigation is underway in Co Tipperary.

A man's body was discovered in Clonmel shortly after 2.30am this morning.

The 45-year-old was found dead in a house at Carrigeen.

The scene has been preserved for a forensic examination.

A 28-year-old man has been arrested and is currently being detained at Clonmel Garda station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
