A new report into racism in this country is to be launched today by the Minister for Justice.
John O'Donoghue will unveil the National Consultative Committee report in the wake of a damning opinion poll labelling Ireland as a nation of racists.
51% of those questioned said that they had first-hand experience of racism in their everyday lives.
The three-year progress report published today is expected to outline political initiatives aimed at making progress in the coming years.
