The funeral has taken place of a man murdered in Co Antrim at the weekend.

John Allen was shot dead by UVF gunmen.

His father says he was killed because he had stood up to the paramilitary group, and because a friend is a witness in a case involving the UVF.

The family denies it was a punishment shooting that went wrong and says Mr. Allen had no connection with the UVF.

At the funeral, Presbyterian Minister, the Rev George Moore, said it was a callous murder by evil cowardly men whose wicked deeds showed they had no respect for God or their fellow human beings.
