Thousands of farms have been shut down in Germany over concerns that contaminated feed has been given to pigs and cattle.
Some of the eggs from those farms were then transported to Holland and mixed with non-contaminated eggs to make liquid egg.
This was then distributed to the UK and was destined for use in goods like pastries and mayonnaise.
The UK's Food Standards Agency has said it is unlikely to be a risk to humans because it will have been diluted.
