Man held following Dublin stabbing

An 18-year-old man has been arrested after a stabbing incident in Dublin last night.

An 18-year-old man has been arrested after a stabbing incident in Dublin last night.

The victim, a 38-year-old man, was attacked outside a chip shop on Benbulben Road in Drimnagh shortly after 11pm last night.

He was rushed to the St. James' Hospital but his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

The man arrested is being held at Sundrive Road Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
