AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has insisted that Brazil playmaker Kaka will remain with the European champions.

The 25-year-old has been linked with a move away from the San Siro, with Real Madrid considered a possible destination. The Spanish club’s president Ramon Calderon is known to be an admirer.

But Galliani on Monday told www.acmilan.com: "I guarantee to Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon that on July 23 [when the squad meet to start pre-season training], Kaka will be present at Milanello in order to begin preparations with his team-mates.

"On August 31, as a European champion, he will play in Monte Carlo in the European Super Cup final against Sevilla and then in the World Club Championships in December in Japan."
