Leinster House to be opened to public

Up to 8,000 people are expected to visit Leinster House today and tomorrow for the second annual Oireachtas open day.

Up to 8,000 people are expected to visit Leinster House today and tomorrow for the second annual Oireachtas open day.

Visitors who signed up to visit the Dail and Seanad will be treated to a guided tour of the House.

Actors will perform famous speeches made in the chambers through the decades.

Ceann Comhairle John O'Donoghue said the Leinster House open day is proving to be a big hit with the public.
